Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate’s Monday Morning Message! I hope that each of you reading this were able to spend some quality time with your family over the Mother’s Day weekend. As I grow older, I find that time well spent is the best gift we can receive. And time is a limited commodity, so it is wise to spend it with the people we love, doing the things that bring us the most joy in life. Is there something in your life that is taking up your days, but it is not the highest and best use of your precious time? Is it something you don’t enjoy doing, or feel obligated to do? This week, take a moment to consider those time-sucking activities in your life. Can they be eliminated or delegated? Time is limited. Spend it wisely! Let’s make it a great week!

Climb ‘Til Your Dream Comes True by: Helen Steiner Rice

Often your tasks will be many,
And more than you think you can do.

Often the road will be rugged
And the hills insurmountable, too.

But always remember, the hills ahead
Are never as steep as they seem,

And with Faith in your heart start upward
And climb ’til you reach your dream.

For nothing in life that is worthy
Is ever too hard to achieve

If you have the courage to try it,
And you have the faith to believe.

For faith is a force that is greater
Than knowledge or power or skill,

And many defeats turn to triumph
If you trust in God’s wisdom and will.

For faith is a mover of mountains,
There’s nothing that God cannot do,

So, start out today with faith in your heart,
And climb ’til your dream comes true!

“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.” – Earl Nightingale

“Choose to focus your time, energy and conversation around people who inspire you, support you and help you to grow you into your happiest, strongest, wisest self.” – Karen Salmansohn

“Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.” – William Shakespeare

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” – Steve Jobs
